State Energy Emergency Response Plans Completed by Energy Planning Consultants

 
America's energy infrastructure is the backbone of commerce, transportation, communications, government, health care, and home life in the United States. Any prolonged interruption of the supply of basic energy - be it electrical, natural gas, or oil products - would be devastating to the nation and its people. We increasingly depend on robust, secure, and reliable energy systems to power our economy, maintain our national security, and provide for the well being of our citizens. Because energy is part of an interdependent network of critical physical and information infrastructures, it must be protected from terrorist acts as well as natural hazards. Energy Planning Consultants is the leader in preparing and exercising energy assurance plans. Below are several recent planning efforts by EPC:
   
 

U.S. DOE Philadelphia Office - In 2004, Green Alert Technologies completed a review of the Middle-Atlantic States (District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. The review included emergency support functions, energy emergency plans, energy use comparisons, federal and state energy laws, fuel allocation techniques, and petroleum facts by state. Arizona State Flag

ARIZONA - In 2006-2007, Energy Planning Consultants completed the 1st. major revision of the State of Arizona Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP).  
 

COLORADO - In 1996, Green Alert Technologies (Energy Planning Consultants) completed the 1st. major revision of the State of Colorado Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP). In 2002 and 2003, we updated the Colorado Plan to include new changes in fuel allocation. During 2004, Green Alert conducted an energy emergency table-top exercise for the Governor's Office of Energy Management & Conservation.  
 

DELAWARE - In 2001, Green Alert Technologies (Energy Planning Consultants) completed the 1st. major revision of the State of Delaware Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP). During 2002, we updated the plan to include the ESF-12 functions. During 2003, we again updated the Delaware Plan to include fuel allocation aspects of the plan. KANSAS - In 2001, Green Alert Technologies (Energy Planning Consultants) completed the 1st. major revision of the State of Kansas Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP). In 2002 and 2003, we updated the  SEERP to include new changes in fuel allocation. We also presented our findings to the Kansas State Legislative Committee on Energy. NEW HAMPSHIRE - In 2001, Green Alert Technologies (Energy Planning Consultants) completed the 1st. major revision of the State of New Hampshire Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP). WYOMING - In 2001, Green Alert Technologies (Energy Planning Consultants) completed the 1st. major revision of the State of Wyoming Energy Emergency Response Plan (SEERP). During 2003, we updated the plan to include the ESF-12 functions. During 2004, we developed an informational CD for citizens.
